“What is your favorite artwork?”

Curatorial Rationale

We always ask ourselves what the future looks like, some make time capsules and some leave knowledge behind. The future is inescapable with many hidden gems of knowledge and technology with infinite possibilities to our human race. Art can be performed in endless ways expressing many different themes and ideas. Some of our earliest human memorization as a species came from art from architecture to writing art pieces. Many paintings create and define who surtain people are and how their culture has come to be. I wanted to create a different vision close to many others visions of the future to introduce new ideas and perspectives to my audience. Background information was a heavy usage technique that brought my ideas to their full potential. Creating multiple projects using many different medias and background studies help me figure out the ultimate theme for my works, The theme of future. My method and technique of exhibiting my artwork was to contribute a meaning of a different perspective a little different than the majority of other artists with the futuristic theme style as I never saw exactly what I thought when I heard of the future. I used many different submitting elements from modern day technology and themes to include as my own as the future is happening within every second of our lives day by day, week by week, month by month, and year by year. Using elements from an everyday perspective that can connect with the audience directly without any physical explanation is the key to understanding someone especially through the art. There were many options of themes I could have chosen but me, always being fascinated by the universe around us, chose the futuristic theme which helped me showcase my ideas through these artworks that was unique to me and different from everyone else's. The most fun part creating all of these artworks was to think of an idea knowing that it is very unique by itself and that it cannot be replicated nor has it been before. strategies I used to help me connect with the viewer is to have relatable messages through the art such as objects or actions we all can relate to to help the reader feel more connected with not only the artwork but with the artist. I use symbolism and many of my artworks To help show my ideas and share what my process and perspective was of each individual artwork. I have specifically arranged my artworks in such a presentable way that supports the relationship and helps the connection by simply being relatable. I intend my audience to feel That there are much greater possibilities in the future and ideas that can be brought to life in which each person has a different perspective of the future that can only be expressed when shared. I want my audience to also think and experience how many different people in Generations have pictured the future with each individual having slightly different perspective than another which is fascinating itself as all these people have their own way of looking at things. Sometimes looking at an art piece and admiring it isn't as important as analyzing and understanding the piece of art. Ultimately I want my audience or for anyone to see and experience my vision of certain things that may or may not be possible in the future. Artwork such as futuristic objects like a helmet or sport equipment or places all are eventually going to be redesigned with the help of creativity as being creative is one of the most important parts of making art unique not only to you but to your viewers and audience. I chose to layout my art pieces like how I did because it felt right to make them symmetrical to each other in a way where everything has its own space to observe instead of just art works next to each other. I did this because each artwork is different and has a different meaning and story behind it instead of making multiple artworks that connect which isn't the case for my style.

  • What's Behind, 2023

Acrylic Paint On Canvas and Paper With Thread
    30.7cm by 23cm

The future holds lots of different outcomes from our actions, taking care of our planets is one of the first priorities we should consider before it's too late. This piece showcases a person looking at our beautiful planet that cannot be habitable anymore as many horrible crises happen because of us. Many ideas of chios have brought the fact that we escape though a giant spaceship which can be shown at the top of the peace as I got inspired by many similar ideas.

  • Key to reality of the future

    Acrylic Paint On Canvas
    35.5cm by 25.2cm

Keys open doors to discoveries, the future has many doors missing keys to unlock, many we have never thought of opening or had opportunities to, this piece was to showcase what can be possible in case a portal ever comes to an existence, a keyhole that connects the world to the universe. Portals in the future can solve many questions in the world, while being part of the future that we have yet to find. This art piece I wanted to draw as a perspective of what the world can be like from a keyhole.

  • MarsScape on earth, 2023

    Pencil On Paper
    30.4 cm by 22.9 cm

In this art piece I wanted to be almost too simple with a retro landscape that can be seen from a distance with the moon reversing its normal of normal distancing away but instead got supe close to the point where humans have made it habitable with space and mars sharing almost the same environment with asteroids being a normal sight. I got inspired by many ideas that contain the idea of humans relocating to the Planet Mars which is the planet used in this art piece.

  • Space distractions

    Acrylic Paint On Canvas
    50.8cm by 40.64cm

Space being one of the most fascinating mysteries, endlessly expanding with infinite wonders, some of the tools we have created have forced our society to stick to things other than looking at the bigger picture and what Fascination can be found and discovered. Objects such as phones and time and social media have all influenced our decisions daily that impacts our life by changing the things we look for instead of looking even beyond that.

  • Into Planet S

Acrylic Paint On Canvas and Paper
    40.5cm by 30.4cm

The universe is full of surprises, many undiscovered without anyone knowing what can be out there, the future holds many exciting findings sorting from planets to creatures other than those known once. As the future lets us create methods of discovering mysteries hidden, We can showcase what the university contains. Nebulas are true while mythic creatures are said to me myths, do we really know that truth while there is infinite space to discover?
